beta release
v0.1.0-beta.52
Added
- Added Criticals for Vanilla, Lunar, and Cosmic clients, with configurable jump behaviour and activation chance.
- Fault screens and diagnostics can now send a sanitized error report directly to Montu support and return a reference ID for follow-up.
- Added clearer first-run guidance for unsupported clients and Windows Defender exclusions, including compatibility and system-health checks before attachment.
Changed
- Access suspensions and security-related session stops now remain enforced across reconnects and explain the available recovery action more clearly.
- Fault, expired-license, disconnected-engine, and unsupported-client states now use more specific messaging and actions instead of a generic offline screen.
- Client attachment and removal now expose their in-progress state more clearly, reducing confusing transitions while Montu connects or safely unloads.
Fixed
- Improved Kill Aura movement, sprint, jump, mouse-sensitivity, block interaction, and reported-rotation consistency, particularly on Cosmic Client.
- Fixed stale or flickering access screens that could briefly show a valid session after access had already been revoked.
- Fixed disconnected clients remaining visible after a failed or forced unload.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.51
Added
- Refreshed the startup and attach experience with the new cinematic Montu artwork and clearer presentation while clients are being detected and connected.
- Experimental modules and their settings now appear consistently when experimental mode is enabled, including inside saved client configurations.
Changed
- Strengthened runtime safety checks so corrupted or otherwise unsafe client states are detected and stopped before the affected session can continue running.
Fixed
- When a protected session has to stop, the desktop app now explains what happened, removes the disconnected client from the active view, and avoids leaving a stale attached state behind.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.50
Changed
- Strengthened Windows release security with additional exploit protection for the desktop app and stricter checks on every installer before it is published. Releases are now blocked if required protections are missing or if private debugging files, a plaintext payload, or embedded credentials are detected.
- Decrypted client components are now wiped from temporary memory sooner and their private handoff file is removed before lengthy client-readiness checks, reducing how long redundant plaintext copies exist while attaching.
- Release sessions now continuously verify that their loaded client component has not been modified after startup and stop safely if its code changes.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.49
Changed
- Refined the background circuit animation with sharper lines and smoother glowing trails.
- Release builds now check the engine and cleanup utility before attaching to a client, blocking attachment when tampering is detected.
Fixed
- Cancelling an update's Windows permission prompt no longer leaves the app stuck on "Preparing update". Cleanup also dismisses its progress overlay if the app remains open after the operation returns.
- Removing Montu now asks Windows to refresh its shortcuts and icons, helping clear stale entries from Windows Search.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.48
Fixed
- If Montu's background engine stopped unexpectedly while a client was attached, the app could keep showing that client as still connected. Attached clients are now cleared as soon as the engine disconnects, so what you see always matches reality.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.47
Changed
- The window title bar has been reworked for smoother, more reliable behaviour: dragging the window by the title bar no longer lags or sticks, double-clicking it maximises or restores the window, dragging a maximised window pulls it back down to a movable size, and the maximise button now shows the correct restore or maximise icon for the current window state.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.46
Changed
- Device authorization now accepts only the stronger hardware identity introduced in recent betas, so a copied or spoofed identity can no longer share one subscription across machines. Your device keeps working with no action needed.
Fixed
- KillAura and AutoPot no longer fight over your aim. Using a potion while KillAura is active no longer produces the anti-cheat flags it used to when an attack and a potion landed in the same moment, and a manual potion throw now leaves in the direction you are actually facing instead of toward your KillAura target.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.45
Changed
- Montu is now digitally signed. Windows recognises it as a verified publisher, so installing and updating shows fewer "unknown publisher" and SmartScreen warnings, and Smart App Control is far less likely to block it. (Windows Defender may still flag the engine — the antivirus-exclusion steps in setup still apply.)
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.44
Fixed
- Signing in or starting a client no longer fails with "we couldn't verify your access" after a brief network hiccup — the app now retries automatically before reporting a problem.
- Fixed a case introduced in the previous build where some devices were incorrectly turned away during access verification even though nothing was wrong with them; those devices now connect normally.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.43
Changed
- Device authorization now uses a stronger, privacy-preserving hardware identity with a rotating per-session proof. Existing beta installations migrate without requiring users to reconfigure anything.
- Downloaded runtime components are now verified immediately before injection, so corrupted or modified payloads are rejected instead of being loaded.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.42
Added
- Backtrack is now available through Experimental Mode, with an adjustable window for testing the new player-position timing behaviour.
Changed
- Blink now uses its module keybind as a tap-to-toggle control, while Fake Lag applies a steady configurable delay for more predictable behaviour.
Fixed
- The Windows installer now includes the matching engine components, fixing installations that could immediately report that the engine was offline.
- Self-destruct now also removes stale temporary diagnostic logs left behind by interrupted older runs.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.41
Fixed
- Self-destruct no longer briefly flashes command-prompt windows while it runs.
- Self-destruct now fully removes its own leftovers — the temporary helper it uses is deleted right away instead of lingering until your next restart.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.40
Added
- Self-destruct now asks for a final confirmation before it wipes, and lists the cleanup only you can do — clearing your browser history and search, and waiting about 30 seconds before joining Discord or any voice or screenshare call.
Fixed
- The first-time setup and "You're all set" screens no longer show a faint second "Attach a client" button behind them.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.39
Added
- Name Tags can now hide the client's own built-in name tags, so only Montu's are shown.
Changed
- Name Tags now scale with distance so far-off players stay readable.
- The autoclicker varies its click timing to feel more human and stays in sync with the game tick.
Fixed
- Toggling Reach, KillAura or Wall Hit no longer causes a brief stutter.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.38
Fixed
- Self-destruct now securely erases any Montu files you had deleted to the Recycle Bin, overwriting their contents so they cannot be recovered, instead of only emptying the bin.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.37
Fixed
- Self-destruct now removes additional Start Menu and desktop shortcuts, along with Windows app-resolution and icon caches that could leave a broken Montu result in Windows Search after the app was wiped.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.36
Added
- Mod configurations and named profiles now sync securely through your Montu account. Local changes remain available offline, and conflicts let you choose between the cloud copy and this device.
- Keybinds can now use combinations of up to four keyboard or mouse buttons.
- Chests and other block-entity items now render as their real 3D Minecraft icons in whitelist pickers, with a larger local cache for faster subsequent loads.
Changed
- Auto-attach now shows detected clients and verified injection progress on the startup view, works while Minecraft is unfocused, and only reveals mods after the runtime is ready.
- Min/max settings now use one compact range control, and numeric settings show their units directly in the interface.
- New users now start with modules, optional checks, keybinds and lists inactive or empty; existing saved configurations still load normally.
- AutoPot timing and automatic healing behaviour have been tuned across supported clients, and Right Clicker now supports up to 25 CPS.
Fixed
- Errors now explain what happened and suggest a useful next step instead of exposing internal reason codes or raw engine text.
- Item icons are centred more consistently and remain available after reopening Montu.
- Client close and crash notifications now use the actual client name and no longer report ordinary manual unloads as crashes.
- Auto-attach waits for Minecraft to be interactive before initialization, can attach while the game is in the background, and clears closed or unresponsive sessions more reliably.
- Auto-attached clients that were manually ejected stay out of the startup queue until that Minecraft process restarts.
- Client logos and injection transitions have been refined so cards no longer shift on hover and the mod list cannot appear before injection finishes.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.35
Added
- Named profiles can now save and switch between complete mod configurations.
- Player faces and live Minecraft item icons now appear in supported player and item lists instead of generic letter placeholders.
- Higher-risk mods are marked with a skull and can be unlocked from Settings after acknowledging the warning.
- Experimental mode can expose work-in-progress mods for testing. Ping Spoof, Fake Lag and Blink are currently available through this mode and show an in-mod warning.
Changed
- List-based settings now use the same searchable, polished picker experience across the mod library.
- Manual and automatic AutoPot can remain active together and use independent throw styles and camera behaviour.
Fixed
- Saving mod settings now clears the orange unsaved-change indicator immediately.
- Face, text and armour-icon sizing and alignment have been refined for nametags and targeted-player lists.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.34
Fixed
- Self-destruct now fully works. Choosing "Self-destruct" removes Montu completely from this PC — the app, all settings and data, the injected payload, the Windows "Installed apps" entry, the Start Menu shortcut, the installer you downloaded, and leftover temporary files — securely overwriting file contents rather than only deleting them.
- Montu no longer briefly flashes "lost connection with the engine" on startup for a momentary hiccup that recovers on its own.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.33
Added
- Installing an update now shows a full-screen progress sequence: Montu unloads from each attached client in view, then tells you Windows is about to ask for permission before the installer takes over.
Fixed
- Publishing a new version no longer locks older versions out. Montu now keeps working on the build you have and updates when you choose to, instead of refusing to start the moment a newer release appears.
- Error screens now have a copy button, so the details needed to report a problem can be handed over in one click.
- Armour and held-item icons on nametags now render reliably instead of appearing blank or as white squares.
- Dyed leather armour now shows its real colour, and custom client skins render correctly.
- The screen no longer flickers while a chest or inventory is open with a nametag on screen.
- Ejecting several clients at once is dramatically faster and no longer reports clients as "left loaded" while they were still unloading. Each client now shows its own live unload progress.
beta release
v0.1.0-beta.32
Added
- Guided recovery when Windows removes or blocks Montu's engine, with one-click access to the right Windows Security page and the exact folder to exclude.
- Save-as-default and reset-to-factory for module settings, per module and for the whole client, with Ctrl+S and Ctrl+Shift+R shortcuts.
- A colour picker matching the app's theme, including the Minecraft colour palette for friendly team colours.
- Searchable pickers for item, block and player lists.
Fixed
- Montu can now update itself when a newer version is published. Previously an out-of-date client could get stuck unable to start or update, and had to be reinstalled by hand.
